  • Coverage:  Retailers often change the methods they use to calculate comparable store sales, the segments that they report, and the frequency of when they report.  Kantar Retail takes every effort to ensure historical consistency and up-to-date coverage.  In the 2007-2009 period a large number of US retailers stopped reporting monthly data.  Kantar Retail will continue to display historical data even after the retailer ceases reporting the segment.
  •  After finalizing the acquisition of Dollar General, KKR has discontinued reporting monthly sales results for the retailer.
